Well, I haven't updated in ages. I have had a crap load of homework and I've been really sick, so that's why. And I have to go work on a project with Joe in 15 minutes, so this'll be quick.

Kaitou Kid DVD is awesome! It rocked my socks in both English and Japanese. More so in Japanese. Oh, Kappei Yamaguchi... I've also finally started to watch Cowboy Bebop thanks to my friend John. Seen the first five episodes so far, and it looks good! Other than that, no TV, so I've been missing new Teen Titans, Naruto, Inuyasha, and FMA. Oh well. My mom's taping the first three cause I forgot about the new ones for FMA XD. I also need to buy all of my new Graphic Novels... Bah! A curse on you, college! But I have to finishing paying for my New York trip this week and make my down payment for Tanzania, so we'll see.

In other randomness, I got Photoshop from Susan! Woo hoo! Now I'll never get off this thing XD. I plan on putting up some fics later tonight in the midst of my fifty million homework assignments, so if you like reading stuff and the shows I like, check them out ^^;. Okay, now I'm blabbering severely. Laters!

My life is boring! Yay! Well, no, not yay. But still. This is going to be another one of my anime rants, so feel free to ignore it if you so choose.

As I said in the title, I really need to stop reading spoilers online. I mean, at the time I'm like "Yay! I getta find out what happens!" and then I'm like "Why did I read that?!" -_-. The manga of today's freak out is Fruits Basket. Yes, Fruits Basket, the story I usually refer to as the "only Shoujo I can stand." I know like the only person who knows it who reads my journal is [profile] candy__chan but she hasn't come here in a while as far as I know. Some of her friends know it, but they don't know me. Give them my screen name!!! By the way, I WAS RIGHT! IT'S STILL COMING OUT! BAM!

Anyway, me freaking out about Furuba. My god. As those of you who know the series know, there's a curse. There's also a really messed up relationship chain, which is in all Shoujo. And sadly, it doesn't go the way I'd like it to go. I don't like Kyo/Tohru *waits for Candyland to direct her friends to my account so they can all kill me*. I mean, I like their characters, but as a couple, no. Ick. And again, I said I've been reading spoilers, so don't you dare try to tell me why I should. It's my opinion. Deal with it. I'm frankly not that much into Yuki/Tohru either, but I could tolerate it. With my recent set of spoilers, though... no, I don't wanna ruin anything! But I was like "T_T OMG!!! -_-" I know so much about what happens in this series. Stuff I never wanted to know, even if I hadn't read it ahead of time. Yes folks, you guessed it, Furuba turns into a true Shoujo. I mourn the loss of it's originality and enjoyable storyline. Obviously, I still like it enough to read about it, but it should stay the way it is now, darn it!

In other news, I'm slowly meeting anime fans on campus one by one! w00t! Maybe we can form a little group or something eventually =P. Okay, I'm done ranting for now.

Okay, maybe I wasn't...

Well, my life is boring! Just got back from cue to cue for True West. I'm running sound. We have a really nifty new sound board and everything. Yay! Other than that, nothing too exciting. I know Inuyasha movie 3 came out, but I haven't gotten off campus and I all ready saw it thanks to Rachel. I heard they dubbed my favorite line right, though! Yay! Although, now I can complain that they released it before 132. Grr... It totally ruins that! It makes his line so uberly random then. By the way, 117 premieres tonight in case you were wondering. As does Naruto. I'm gonna try to watch it, although the dub doesn't sound too promising. I wanna know who does Haku's voice! Oh yes, and:

Terra Terra Terra Terra Terra! TERRA!!! T~E~R~R~A!!!!!!!!!11111one

They FINALLY showed Terra again! In a flash back of Skeletor, er, um, I mean Slade, but they mentioned her two separate times. And the second one totally pointed toward Beast Boy still liking her! I'm so happy!!! I ran around the house screaming! ...And my mom stared at me...

Anime party was AWESOME! [personal profile] candyland will be posting our best quotes at some point. One of them was me going "Kaito Kaito Kaito!" over and over in Best Buy yesterday. And right after that I went "Heiji Heiji Heiji!", both times jumping up and down. People stared at me...

I'm one happy fangirl tonight!!
kaito: (Default)
Hi everybody! Nothing too much happening in my life. I have a ton of odd jobs this month that’ll keep me busy, so I guess that’s good. I had to mow a lawn tonight... *is half awake* Anime Party on Friday! Yay! I’ll have to miss Saturday morning, but knowing my watching pals, they’ll be asleep the whole time, lol. But hey, I need cash! We’re starting by going to the grand opening of Best Buy and staring at the anime. Possibly buying, but at least staring. I still haven’t watched the ones my brother loaned me, so it’ll be a free for all on those, too.

I suddenly started making icons for... two days. Here they are. Feel free to just take them if you want them. I really don’t care. Just don’t say you made them, even though I don’t know why you would. Or ignore this part of my post entirely if you don’t care.

Well, I've been busy. I made $38.70 at the rummage sale. Yay me. Look out for dripping sarcasm. Anyway, a lot of random stuff has been happening. Like me trying to explain the weather condition of "splurting" to my parents (it's when it's sprinkling on and off! Come on!). And my dad saying that "We're spreading freedom and democracy by fighting." And me having a dentist appointment today at 2 and an orthodontist one at 3. My mouth'll be hurting sooner or later. I still need to watch the DVDs my brother gave me. Especially before our third annual anime party. What's sad is that I never have anything to contribute to those. Except Inuyasha. But now I'll have Studio Ghibli once I watch them! Limited time offer! Eh, okay. In other news, using glitches in the original Pokemon games to your advantage is fun! It can't be cheating if it's built into the game! *kills everything with Mew*

...I haven't written a thing in weeks. I need to do that at some point.

kaito: (Default)
I know I haven't updated/commented in forever, but I've been, well, home. We have dial up here, so my access is limited. I know I've been "tagged" on a few things, but, well, I don't really have the time right now ^^;. Geez, that insanely depressing episode of FMA is on. Like, it's one of the few I've seen, but still. Adorable four year olds shouldn't die. ...Heh, sorry for spoilers anybody.

So, yeah. I'm desperately trying to get a job. I went to graduation tonight. Yay everybody who got out of that hell hole! I wanna go to the parade tomorrow, but if I get lucky and get a job, I may not be able to come. ...You never know! I also need to catch up on anime and manga, and look into new interesting things. And the recent Inuyasha episodes (on TV) have been pretty crappy. Stupid fillers... Okay, I should go. Just letting you know I'm still out here. Somewhere. Oh yeah, I saw Star Wars (commercial just came on)! It was better than the other two. I can't remember the first three, or, um, next three very well, but I think they were better. But getting rid of Hayden Christensen is always a good thing. I kind of wish I had seen more of the Clone Wars cartoon, though, since it was the lead in to this. I did see the cool four armed robot guys first appearance (Some title Grevious, I can't remember)! Okay, NOW I'm going. Back to the really sad FMA episode. I like this show. Glad they're this early into it so I can watch it! ...Seriously, I'm stopping...

kaito: (Default)
Well, interesting weekend. I'm gradually moving out (still have a lot, but my life'll be easier on Thursday now). I also went home for some job interviews today. I know I didn't get one job, but hopefully I get the one with Beyond the Bell. I'd be getting paid to look after kids! I'll find out soon on that one. But I have experience in that field, so maybe I'll get lucky. It'd be at East Middle, too, so it's not too far from my house.

Then things got fun! I was done around 2:15, and we went to buy some groceryish stuff. I was feeling icky, and eventually blarfed by the time we got to North Sioux. It was around 2:45 by now, and although resting sounded good, I suddenly remembered a meeting I needed to go to at 4. So, we kept going after a short break, and I felt better eventually. Actually, I think I've figured out these random episodes, like the one I had on my birthday. But I don't feel like explaining. And no, I'm not doing anything bad!!! Well, sort of. Not taking my medicine and randomly taking the full dosage again isn't a good idea, though... There, you see? I explained!

So, yeah, boring meeting, got dinner with my mommy (my daddy's been at work), and here I am. And yes, I did say the title of this with Teen Girl Squad inflection to my mom, but not the voice because she doesn't know that (thank the heavens, lol). And we talked about anime, because my mom actually thinks it's interesting and likes a few. Hee hee, yay for getting her hooked on Fruits Basket! Okay, I'm done now. I should study... *really doesn't want to, but I have no choice* Later!

kaito: (Default)
You know, I know that the show went from good to bad, but this is just... I don't know. Scary and exciting. And it's real. That I'm fairly certain about.

Powerpuff Girls Z?
They're not joking?

I get my braces finished on Tuesday. Yay! Not. Geez, is it all ready almost Monday? I hate time. Other than that, nothing else overly interesting. That's why my last two entries have been based around stuff I found online!

kaito: (Default)
Anybody else here while LJ was dead for a while? I know I noticed it. I am so bored right now! And I'm not sleepy, either. I should write...

I LOVE my job! May I say that? Cause, I mean, come on, rarely do you get payed to sit and do your homework. And since the gallery won't be open tomorrow, I came in today and helped moved things and stuff for about an hour. Then the guy in charge said I could put down 3! Yay for that! True, my back will probably be killing me in the morning for the lifting and stuff that I had to do, but I got over-time in a sense and that makes me feel good.

I just found a new web comic. Normally, I just read 8-bit Theater, but I was randomly looking around and found this really awesome one. It's like a Powerpuff Girls manga, but it includes a ton of other shows. It has Dexter's Lab, Samurai Jack, Courage the Cowardly Dog, Billy and Mandy, Johnny Bravo, Fairly Odd Parents, and Invader Zim to name a few. It's kind of weird, but I love it! Maybe it's because a lot of shows that used to be good are coming together and being good again... I don't know. This is how boring my life is right now!

kaito: (Default)
Wow. I can't believe it's all ready 2005. Why, it seems like just yesterday it was 2004! Wait, it was... Anyway, I've been okay outside of the whole braces thing, but I am getting used to those. It was icy all day so me and themonkeymaiden had to put our date on hold, but we're trying for tomorrow and daemongard will be joining us, so it'll be fun. We're seeing "The Incredibles," by the way. I've wanted to see it for so long!!!

Yesterday was probably the first time I didn't do anything really at midnight. I went over to candy__chan's and we watched Inuyasha movie 2 (I still love it!), Azumanga Daioh (weird...), and Dectective Conan/Case Closed. I haven't seen the latter in a while, so it was nice to see again. Movie 2 is so good! I thought it would have been funny if the lady in the mirror decided to see what the dark desire in everyone's hearts was (other than Inuyasha) and went to Miroku and she screamed in disgust and the mirror broke. Hee hee hee...

Wow, this takes time to write *now watching Inuyasha* I haven't seen this one... Anyway, I've been having a good time! My mother now loves Fruits Basket. She watched the whole series with me. Her favorite was Yuki. FLUFFY!!! Sorry, still watching TV... It's Hachi! Okay, I should stop, I haven't seen this one before... Good grief, who hasn't shown up?

Oh yeah. I go back early Monday morning after part two of my braces get finished. I wonder if I'll get a roommate? I feel bad cause I missed a lot of people I wanted to give presents to, but maybe you'll get a really really late one or something ^_^. Watching TV. Talk to ya later!

kaito: (Default)
Yeah, I know, I need to stop updating, but at least this keeps me from having freakishly long entries that drive everyone (including me) crazy! However, with finals and break coming up, I won't be on here that much, so I thought I should get these out of the way! ...Or something...

I have a five page paper due in less than two hours and I don't even know what I'm supposed to write it on! I need to look it up... But I've been sick, which raises my lazy factor by ten billion. Then I need to study for my German final tomorrow, which I originally thought was Monday. At least it's like 1 in the afternoon so I can study tomorrow, too. ...And I really need to work on my stories. I guess there's always break, but still, when I don't update people give up and I don't get those beautiful reviews that I love so much.

I'm feeling much better, by the way. I've just been eating crackers, jello, and Corn Pops and drinking 7-Up, while lying in bed either doing Paint by Numbers or playing Game Boy, and then randomly getting online and staring at things. Or reading the newest chapter of Inuyasha from Japan, which I just finished doing. The internet is both a blessing and a curse. Last night, I was feeling almost as better, and I was supposed to be in the improv show (last one of the semester, I might add), so I went and did that. My nausea kind of kicked in, but I made it through. Plus, it was a lot of fun! It's really rare for a freshman to be in a show period their first semester, but me and two other guys have all had experience, so we've all gotten to be in at least two shows. It's great.

When I get this thing done, I should ask my friend to take the paper to our teacher. I don't know if I should walk too much (standing for a long period of time is what's making feel the sickest), and she's in my class. I sure hope she hasn't turned in her paper or late thingy (which I all ready used, so I have to do it XP)... Oh well, she's nice, maybe she will. Plus, I've been wearing my PJs all day, I don't feel like changing. It's a sick thing!

I think I'm going to kill candy__chan. She found a site that has really good prices on tons of DVDs and decided to give me the link. Looking at the site (with it's huge only until December 23rd sale), I realized that I could get almost every DVD (or episodes, at least) that I've been wanting for under $300. This sounds like a lot, but were I to keep buying them like I have been, it would cost me over $1500. Plus, my grandma may give me the same gift I got for my birthday and last Christmas (aka 200 smackers), so that could be used. But I only have until the 23rd and the price goes up. I don't know if I should get a ton of DVDs for extremely cheap or wait and spend a ton more money but have it spread out. The thing is, if I get these things, I'll only have to get two more DVDs from Suncoast or wherever and I won't have to buy any more unless they decide to release Animaniacs on DVD! I'll be done with shopping for these stupid anime shows!!! ...Unless I find another really good one, that is. And then there's still the manga that I'm wasting money on. It also turns out that this site takes checks, so I'm pretty much deciding if I should buy everything at once while it's on sale on a freakishly cheap site anyway, or not... I have the money, but I kind of want to use it for school and stuff (yay graduation)... I hope Grandma gives me that present and I freaking decide!!! WHY DID YOU GIVE ME THAT LINK, CANDY__CHAN?! WHY?!

...I really need to do that paper.

kaito: (Default)
Well, I'm back from that lovely holiday known as Thanksgiving Break. It was so nice to be home for a few days, but now... *siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiigh* I'm back to being bored and lethargic. Not that I wasn't this weekend, mind you, but it's a bad thing now. And now, it's Christmas time!!!

I still don't know what to do about presents. I think I know what I'm getting my mom and dad (Dr. Mario and the Adventure of Link respectively), but I don't know WHAT to get anyone else. I have an idea, but it's sort of stupid, and there are a few people that I'd want to give more to, you know? Yeah, I totally didn't realize the new original Nintendo games that were out. I saw Adventure of Link and bought it immediately for myself, lol. I want to get Metroid and the original Castlevania, too. The latter is famous in my house because it's one of the two games that my brother, the master, could never beat. I hope they've kept it the same so I have the same challenge ahead of me. The thing is, the other game he couldn't beat was Kirby's Pinball, and I've beaten that (cause I got really lucky once), so we'll have to see. Plus, my dad recalls it having really good music, but we can't remember how it goes, so I'd like to hear that. And Metroid just cause... well, I remember it too. Dr. Mario would be fun, as well as the original Mario and Donkey Kong, but they are twenty dollars. Compared to other games, this is cheap, but it's still fairly expensive. I also found the Fruits Basket boxed set and I REALLY want it, but it's $100, and I just don't have that kind of money to spend. Trigun boxed set it $200, so it'll be a while before I ever get that. Maybe I should look online or something...

I'm not too worried about gifts, though. My crappy idea will do, but I'd like to get more a least for my brother, themonkeymaiden (for putting up with me at home), and Christie (for putting up with me at school XD), and maybe even a few other people if I can think of anything extra outside of my idea... It's not even a very good one. Also, since my sister won't be home for Christmas, I am now in charge of selecting and running my family's recorder ensemble. themonkeymaiden, who's also in our group, had a good idea of adding parts to the duets we used to do for Madrigal. It's either that or Feliz Navidad, and I don't know if they'd like that at our Christmas Eve service... Although, she has now been upgraded to sopranino (if she wants) since my sister is gone! So it'll be sopranino, soprano, alto, and bass probably (yes, there are several kinds of recorders. Tenor is the only one we have that we probably won't use). Or make my brother play tenor and my mom can re-learn soprano, but I think her arthritis would make that too hard....

...Am I a terrible person for wanting to give more to my brother than to my sister?,
kaito: (Default)
*sniff sniff* Well, I just got back from strike. I'm so sad that Honk! is over!!! It was the best experience I've ever had on stage... Oh well. Auditions for the next show are after Thanksgiving, and who knows how that'll turn out... If I don't get in acting, I'll do tech anyways, but still... (although, the Honk! director is doing this next show and said "What makes you think you won't get in acting?" *shrugs* He tends to be overly nice though XD). I'm still very sad though... I mean, I'll see everyone (but the kids) again since I'm in other things with them, but I just feel so... empty.

Well, the votes are in! Nine audiences, nine different responses! And the winner of the Best Audience award is *drum roll, please*....

That's right! Our last audience stood out among the others not just in numbers, but in responsiveness (I just made up a word, didn't I?). In a very close second comes Thursday night, and after that is Opening night. Congratulations all of you, you tried very hard! ...Why did I even put this section in here?

Anyways, it was so nice to see my brother!!! I think he really liked it... XD. He seemed to be enjoying himself. David came, too, cause I think Rachel told him about it. I hadn't seen him in a while, so that was nice. I guess my brother can also come home for Christmas, so that makes me happy, too, cause we aren't always sure if he cane make it. My sister and brother-in-law (gak, I'm still not used to that...) SAY they can come, but we're not too sure ourselves cause that's when they're supposed to be on their Honeymoon... Whatever. Back to what I was talking about, he was telling us about his next show which is sort of an anime/samurai thing (and it's a sequel to a western.... o_O). It sounds so awesome! He apparently had to watch Samurai X for it, lol. So it's fun, especially cause I can talk to him about anime since he's seen a good amount of them (including Inuyasha). In fact, a few months ago he mentioned that he might base his role off of Sesshomaru. I dunno... I hope I can go see it, but I might be on choir tour and then have second semester... It depends on a lot, I guess. *looks at schedule* Hold your horses... I might be able to go!!! YAY!!!

*sigh* I'm so tired... Now it's time to start doing my school work again!!! XP Well, okay, I'll do that tomorrow... I'm gonna go to bed now... Or may just stare at stuff. Whatever.

kaito: (Default)
I'm gonna DIE, I swear!!! Two performances of Honk! today, three tomorrow, and me on the verge of a nervous breakdown. These are not good circumstances, folks. I mean, don't get me wrong. I love the show! It's probably the best I've ever been in! But having all of these performances, including these matinees for little kids who the show really isn't geared to and seeing them all standing up long before the show is over is not a pleasant situation. Curse you television!!! Curse you I say!!! (everyone stares at my collection of icons and thinks "Suuuuure, you hate TV...")

The crowd tonight wasn't too large, but it was a Wednesday. However, they were just as responsive as the crowd opening night, which was nice, cause that was the best crowd we had both size and reaction wise (yes, themonkeymaiden, that includes you, too :) ). I really wish that we could just NOT do it for those stupid kids, though! It's too long for them, especially when it isn't a real children's show!!!!

In other news, one fish is all ready down. Heh, isn't that the way it works, though? At least one fish will die within three days. However, I have a little thing called "Necrophobia", so I asked Christie to take care of the poor thing for me. My other fish seem fine, though. He was the male Platty, so maybe the girls ganged up on him or something, lol. I'll see how they fare for a while and maybe buy another fish if these ones seem to not be dying...

I can't believe it's almost Thanksgiving. I mean, I'm excited (yay for THREE days off of school, then a weekend ^_^), but time is just passing so fast. And then we get to the Christmas season. As much of a warm, fuzzy Christmas fan I am, it usually ends up driving me crazy. In our stupid commercialized world, I never know what to buy anybody! Or WHO to buy things for, for that matter. I mean, if I get a gift for one friend, another may find out and be like "Why didn't she get me anything?" And then I have to be careful with price, and again, I have no idea of what ANYBODY wants. Last year, I got my parents a Tetris game for Game Boy (yes, my parents have a Game Boy; long story, don't ask). I recall hearing that the original Dr. Mario was coming out for it (or maybe I just dreamed that... I can't remember), so maybe I'll get them that, even though they do have an original Game Boy version that daemonguard gave me... I never know what to do for my brother or sister, and now I have my brother-in-law who I might just add my name onto whatever my parents get for him XD.

Then there's the case of ME. I never know what I freaking want!!! I swear, last year every gift I got was Lord of the Rings oriented. Not that I don't love Lord of the Rings, but you'd think at least my parents would realize the monotiny or something... I don't know what they're going to do this year. I mean, I guess my biggest obsessions now are Inuyasha and Teen Titans, but they don't know too much about either of those so I doubt they would get me anything with that. There still is Lord of the Rings, I guess, but I all ready have so much of that... I even have the full story in one book, for heaven's sake. But I guess it doesn't matter, cause with Bush still in office and my sister's wedding, we might not even HAVE a Christmas... (and yes, I actually am serious, although my parents haven't said anything like that)

I don't know what my friends'll do either. Only a few of them (of the ones who actually bother with me, XD) would know about the stupid anime crap, but that tends to be expensive. Hm, I guess my brother does, he got me a "How to Draw Anime" book last year... Where did I put that? Anyways, my other friends shouldn't even bother with that stuff, but they're even more at a loss for me, you know? I've frankly decided that I don't care!!! If you can't think of a gift for me, just don't get me one!!! Of course, you may be like me and think "But I HAVE to!!!" in which case... I don't know. People at least know what I like and don't like. I'm open for video games, books, anime crap (like how I'm using crap? XD), CDs (that are music styles that I like), money... lol. So, as you can see, I really wish people would forget about Santa and all of that stupid stuff and just focus on the REAL meaning of Christmas which has everything to do with Jesus!!! ...And playing recorders.

Until I need to blow off some steam again,

Well, college has been going good! I got to go to a free Christian music festival this weekend! I saw Casting Crowns and Newsboys!!! My sister wants to kill me now, LOL. Sorry you had to miss them, Chuy!

Anywho, I finally cracked! Fanfiction.net has pulled the last straw! Or, uh, whatever... Anyway, what I'm trying to say is that their whole problem with script format has ticked me off to the extreme!! They've taken down "Blame Kakarott" and "Whose Line Is It Anyway, DBZ Style!" for Pete's sake!!! Please, if you are as angry about their little campaign, go here!!!

(PLEASE tell me you know what it is by now!)

Hi, everybody! I'm msbbt! Can you figure out what it stands for? Mwah ah ah!

I thought I should do something introductory on my first day! I am a crazy 18 year old who loves cartoons. I'm also on fanfiction.net under the name Fred the Mutant Pickle in case you want to check that out. I might talk about that a lot in my entries... ^-^

Anyway, I'm about to start college, and I'm kind of nervous, but it'll be fun, you know? I like making people laugh more than anything else. My favorite shows are Animaniacs, Pinky and the Brain, Inuyasha (obsession alert!), MST3K, Trigun, Powerpuff Girl (the first few seasons were good), Teen Titans (obsession alert!), Whose Line?, Monk, and Rurouni Kenshin (although I'm reading the manga now...). I've seen many animes (I count them as a type of cartoon), and pretty much every show on Cartoon Network, although with school coming up, my TV time will drastically be cut down...

Well, it's late! I'd better go! See ya around!

(figure it out, yet?)
