My life is boring! Yay! Well, no, not yay. But still. This is going to be another one of my anime rants, so feel free to ignore it if you so choose.

As I said in the title, I really need to stop reading spoilers online. I mean, at the time I'm like "Yay! I getta find out what happens!" and then I'm like "Why did I read that?!" -_-. The manga of today's freak out is Fruits Basket. Yes, Fruits Basket, the story I usually refer to as the "only Shoujo I can stand." I know like the only person who knows it who reads my journal is [profile] candy__chan but she hasn't come here in a while as far as I know. Some of her friends know it, but they don't know me. Give them my screen name!!! By the way, I WAS RIGHT! IT'S STILL COMING OUT! BAM!

Anyway, me freaking out about Furuba. My god. As those of you who know the series know, there's a curse. There's also a really messed up relationship chain, which is in all Shoujo. And sadly, it doesn't go the way I'd like it to go. I don't like Kyo/Tohru *waits for Candyland to direct her friends to my account so they can all kill me*. I mean, I like their characters, but as a couple, no. Ick. And again, I said I've been reading spoilers, so don't you dare try to tell me why I should. It's my opinion. Deal with it. I'm frankly not that much into Yuki/Tohru either, but I could tolerate it. With my recent set of spoilers, though... no, I don't wanna ruin anything! But I was like "T_T OMG!!! -_-" I know so much about what happens in this series. Stuff I never wanted to know, even if I hadn't read it ahead of time. Yes folks, you guessed it, Furuba turns into a true Shoujo. I mourn the loss of it's originality and enjoyable storyline. Obviously, I still like it enough to read about it, but it should stay the way it is now, darn it!

In other news, I'm slowly meeting anime fans on campus one by one! w00t! Maybe we can form a little group or something eventually =P. Okay, I'm done ranting for now.

...I WANT KAITOU!

Okay, maybe I wasn't...

KAITOU KID CAME OUT TODAY!!!!!! WOO HOO!!!!!!!!! My mommy said she'll look for it for me. She'd better get it up here! I want Kaitou pronto! Especially before [profile] candy__chan, cause she got Inuyasha movie 3 before I did and that's so not fair, lol. Also, today is the 12th anniversary of Animaniacs! Yay random celebrations!

Play rehearsals are going good. My errors on sound board are becoming few and far between. I should be good by opening night. It's a weird play, and yet it's really funny. Especially Joe in the toast scene. I actually make an effort to look over the sound board to watch that one. You should come up and see a 19 year old drinking actual beer on stage at a dry campus and toasters that toast to the verge of flames on light. It's awesome.

While reading Cassie's journal (I only comment when I find something to say, lol), I realized that I hadn't updated my interests in forever, so I did that. I originally would have had to explain Cartoon Network, Miroku, and Terra (TERRA!!!!!111one), but now, well...

Look at your LJ interests list. If you have fewer than 50 interests, pick every fifth one, and explain it. If you have between fifty and seventy-five interests, pick every seventh one. If you have over seventy-five interests, pick every tenth one. If you have fewer than ten, pick all of 'em.

Beast Boy: He's awesome. Best of the five main Titans in my opinion. Cause Terra is so much cooler than all of them. And then Starfire, Cyborg, and Raven tie for third. Robin's annoying.

FanFiction.net: I like to write! And I suck at making my own characters. In fact, I posted a new one-shot today, "Citizen Kaito." I made an effort to finish it yesterday so I could post it on Kaitou day, hee hee.

Inuyasha: It's a really good show. The characters and storylines are so in depth that it's easy to find something to love. Plus, I watched it from episode one, so I'm not an annoying screaming fangirl. I'm just a normal annoying fangirl, lol.

Miroku: Apparently, I have to explain him anyway! He rocks. I wish I had a black hole in my hand. Even though it would kill me. And he's not hard to look at. And he makes me laugh. And he's a nice guy deep down inside.

Shonen Jump: Lots of manga for five bucks a month. It saves on my having to buy graphic novels, I'll tell you that! Plus, they're all worth reading. Even Yu-Gi-Oh! is tolerable in it's original format. And how else are you going to know the story of One Piece without having your ears bleed?

Zelda: Best video game series ever. Halo and Final Fantasy are stupid! Okay, I've never played them, but I've grown up with Zelda, and it's my kind of game. Areas open up to you as you gain items, you become "stronger" as the story goes along, and you get to stab stuff.

Well, I had an exciting Labor Day! And not because there were no classes, even though that was nice. In no particular order: My parents came up today and we hung out. Mostly it was to bring me stuff I forgot and for them to take my boxes and stuff. Then we ate lunch. Then we went to this butterfly garden in the southern part of town. It was amazing! I've never seen so many different kinds of butterflies in one place. Anyway, now why I titled it this. First of all, while shopping and looking for new DVDs and manga, I found Kenshin vol. 18. I have been waiting SO LONG for this one! It's this volume that I started getting the manga for! Well, this and the ones after. You see, it's in this volume that the anime got canceled, so I'll be reading a ton of new stuff. Yay! This next one is really stupid, but I about died. For those of you fanfic readers and writers out there, you know what it's like to really respect and love someone else's work. Well, one of these authors is apparently emailing review responses to her newest story, and I about fell out of my chair when I saw she had emailed me, lol. She even said that she had noticed my absence from the site! I feel so special... Finally, my parents said I can go to New York over Fall Break!!! YAY!!! I've never been there! Well, I've been to the state, not the city. Kathy is one happy girl today! Now if only they'd released the Kaitou Kid DVD 8 days early...

I know I haven't updated/commented in forever, but I've been, well, home. We have dial up here, so my access is limited. I know I've been "tagged" on a few things, but, well, I don't really have the time right now ^^;. Geez, that insanely depressing episode of FMA is on. Like, it's one of the few I've seen, but still. Adorable four year olds shouldn't die. ...Heh, sorry for spoilers anybody.

So, yeah. I'm desperately trying to get a job. I went to graduation tonight. Yay everybody who got out of that hell hole! I wanna go to the parade tomorrow, but if I get lucky and get a job, I may not be able to come. ...You never know! I also need to catch up on anime and manga, and look into new interesting things. And the recent Inuyasha episodes (on TV) have been pretty crappy. Stupid fillers... Okay, I should go. Just letting you know I'm still out here. Somewhere. Oh yeah, I saw Star Wars (commercial just came on)! It was better than the other two. I can't remember the first three, or, um, next three very well, but I think they were better. But getting rid of Hayden Christensen is always a good thing. I kind of wish I had seen more of the Clone Wars cartoon, though, since it was the lead in to this. I did see the cool four armed robot guys first appearance (Some title Grevious, I can't remember)! Okay, NOW I'm going. Back to the really sad FMA episode. I like this show. Glad they're this early into it so I can watch it! ...Seriously, I'm stopping...

Heh, you even see that episode of Family Guy where they were going to a Red Sox game and Chris made a sign that said "John 3:16" and Meg asked what it meant and that's what Brian read out of the Bible (my subject, I mean)? I died laughing when I saw that, and thought it would be appropriate (cause I forgot to use it yesterday XD).

On a more relevant note, my computer is all better!!! Yay for Computer Help Desk!! It's working fine now!!! Heck, it's better than it was before! I heart it! I also heart this website I found. It's better than the site I've been using to read Inuyasha straight from Japan. This one not only updates more frequently and closer to the release, but it's the scans of the manga with English words!!! It's so awesome! I wish they had #292, though... Oh well, both sites have their strong points!

I gotta go, but I just wanted to let you know that my computer is all better!

Hi, everybody! I'm msbbt! Can you figure out what it stands for? Mwah ah ah!

I thought I should do something introductory on my first day! I am a crazy 18 year old who loves cartoons. I'm also on fanfiction.net under the name Fred the Mutant Pickle in case you want to check that out. I might talk about that a lot in my entries... ^-^

Anyway, I'm about to start college, and I'm kind of nervous, but it'll be fun, you know? I like making people laugh more than anything else. My favorite shows are Animaniacs, Pinky and the Brain, Inuyasha (obsession alert!), MST3K, Trigun, Powerpuff Girl (the first few seasons were good), Teen Titans (obsession alert!), Whose Line?, Monk, and Rurouni Kenshin (although I'm reading the manga now...). I've seen many animes (I count them as a type of cartoon), and pretty much every show on Cartoon Network, although with school coming up, my TV time will drastically be cut down...

Well, it's late! I'd better go! See ya around!
