*sigh* Thank the heavens it's Thanksgiving!!! I'm so excited to go home!!! Hm, let's see, what's happened since my last update? Oh yeah. Johannah died on Friday. I went to the Memorial Service last night. It was open casket, but due to some wonderful twists of fate and people's heads, I never saw her. See, I have this little thing called necrophobia, and seeing dead anything else creeps me out enough. I never ever want to see a dead person. Ever. I don't even understand why we have the whole open casket thingy. I mean, if we believe that bodies and souls are separate entities and that the soul has gone on to someplace else, that being the person, then why do people want to stare at an empty shell? My dad and I were talking about it last night, actually.

So yeah, I need to do some final packing here and then I get to go home T_T. Yayness! If anyone wants to do anything with me, give me a ring. Preferably on my home phone, but my cell might be on if your lucky. Elsa and Mike are coming, but I'm totally willing to ditch them, lol. Well, I do need to spend some time with them, obviously, but I have no problem hanging out with other people. And it's her birthday on Sunday, and I have no idea of what to give her. El will probably be getting a very nice card, lol. Okay, gotta go! Laters!

Did I mention that John is back from Australia? He's like the coolest kid ever! Heh, just saw him in the theater office, and I think when he realized he'd been spotted he tried to hide behind the desk, lol. I'm so happy! I didn't realize he was going to be back this soon! He didn't tell anyone, I think, but I'm still happy!

Okay, I have to get ready for auditions for the next play. I auditioned for Pirates last night and frankly I think they hated me. Curse you, braces!!! Curse you to the lowest depths!!!

Well, I'm back on campus. As of now, I have my own room, so yay! This year I really wanna work hard and get through some of my personal problems. Long story, don't ask. Anyway... Yeah. I had a bunch of stuff I wanted to say and I can't think of any of it now! Let's see. I've all ready lost my scissors. I think it's a new record or something. And my mom got me lots of stuff, which is good. ...Man, this entry sucks! When I'm not so dead tired and can think of something interesting to say, I'll do it.

I know I haven't updated/commented in forever, but I've been, well, home. We have dial up here, so my access is limited. I know I've been "tagged" on a few things, but, well, I don't really have the time right now ^^;. Geez, that insanely depressing episode of FMA is on. Like, it's one of the few I've seen, but still. Adorable four year olds shouldn't die. ...Heh, sorry for spoilers anybody.

So, yeah. I'm desperately trying to get a job. I went to graduation tonight. Yay everybody who got out of that hell hole! I wanna go to the parade tomorrow, but if I get lucky and get a job, I may not be able to come. ...You never know! I also need to catch up on anime and manga, and look into new interesting things. And the recent Inuyasha episodes (on TV) have been pretty crappy. Stupid fillers... Okay, I should go. Just letting you know I'm still out here. Somewhere. Oh yeah, I saw Star Wars (commercial just came on)! It was better than the other two. I can't remember the first three, or, um, next three very well, but I think they were better. But getting rid of Hayden Christensen is always a good thing. I kind of wish I had seen more of the Clone Wars cartoon, though, since it was the lead in to this. I did see the cool four armed robot guys first appearance (Some title Grevious, I can't remember)! Okay, NOW I'm going. Back to the really sad FMA episode. I like this show. Glad they're this early into it so I can watch it! ...Seriously, I'm stopping...

Well, interesting weekend. I'm gradually moving out (still have a lot, but my life'll be easier on Thursday now). I also went home for some job interviews today. I know I didn't get one job, but hopefully I get the one with Beyond the Bell. I'd be getting paid to look after kids! I'll find out soon on that one. But I have experience in that field, so maybe I'll get lucky. It'd be at East Middle, too, so it's not too far from my house.

Then things got fun! I was done around 2:15, and we went to buy some groceryish stuff. I was feeling icky, and eventually blarfed by the time we got to North Sioux. It was around 2:45 by now, and although resting sounded good, I suddenly remembered a meeting I needed to go to at 4. So, we kept going after a short break, and I felt better eventually. Actually, I think I've figured out these random episodes, like the one I had on my birthday. But I don't feel like explaining. And no, I'm not doing anything bad!!! Well, sort of. Not taking my medicine and randomly taking the full dosage again isn't a good idea, though... There, you see? I explained!

So, yeah, boring meeting, got dinner with my mommy (my daddy's been at work), and here I am. And yes, I did say the title of this with Teen Girl Squad inflection to my mom, but not the voice because she doesn't know that (thank the heavens, lol). And we talked about anime, because my mom actually thinks it's interesting and likes a few. Hee hee, yay for getting her hooked on Fruits Basket! Okay, I'm done now. I should study... *really doesn't want to, but I have no choice* Later!

I really hate my life. I honestly feel like I only have three friends, and that's only because they'll IM me whenever I'm on AOL or MSN. Then there's this stupid theater department where I don't feel like I'm a part of it at all. I honestly think the only reason I get any attention paid to me is because either it's one of the few other people who don't feel like a part of it (and none of them are majors), because my being a major gives them money, or because they have a question and no one else is around (seriously just happened). I mean, I'm sitting in the office crying and like three people have said something to me about it. Three. Out of about thirty people here. I'm totally skipping strike. I felt like crap in the first place and this just isn't helping. This place is so freaking cliquey and I'm not in one so I don't matter! It's like freaking show choir all over again. It's really too bad that I wanna be a voice actress so much (and go to Africa), because otherwise, I'd leave. In fact, I'm going to see how next year goes (mostly for Tanzania), and see about transferring. I don't know if any other schools will be any better. Chances are I won't have any friends there either. But I just feel like crap. It's like I don't matter to anyone. Except for like those three people who IM me all the time, and that makes me happy.

I'm feeling better! I mean, the problem's still there, but personally I'm doing great! I still have a lot of work to do, but I can! You know what's really weird? FanFiction.net. The stories that I care the least about writing are the ones that do the best for me! Seriously. I made this one chapter story just for the heck of it, and in the last four days nearly twenty people have reviewed it. It's insane! I don't understand it at all... Oh well.

Yesterday in choir, Dr. J said he would have a big announcement for us today. And of course, we all knew what it would be about. That being where next summer's international tour will be. They've gone to places like Norway, France, Germany, Italy, and most recently Ireland. So at the end of rehearsal today, he finally decided to tell us, not without a joke about "I just saved big money on my car insurance..." Hee hee, I thought it was funny. And now, this is pretty much exactly what he said to us, and my mental reaction.

DR. J: Have you heard of Lake Victoria?
ME: (being the geography whiz that I am, my eyes went very wide at this. Everyone else just nodded while trying to remember where it is)
DR. J: Have you heard of Mt. Kilimanjaro?
ME: (everyone else still seemed to not fully catch what he was getting at. I was about falling off my seat)
DR. J: We will be going to Tanzania.

I had seen this coming, but still, I freaked out with everyone else. And the seniors were mad, but they can come if they really want to. Dr. J even said so. So yeah. As long as I get back in gear with my school work, get a job, and something doesn't happen that makes this plan fall through (which is highly possible), I will be in Africa for about two weeks next summer. Seriously.

Actually, there's a story behind this. While on tour, we went to a church that has a sister church there, which is what got Dr. J interested in the first place, I think. We're mostly going there to help show them what it means to be Lutheran, and he told those of us that aren't that we'll have to be for this trip, lol. He also said that it's a British country, so their English will be better than ours. Again, it could possibly fall through, but he said he didn't want to tell us until he was pretty much positive that this was going to work. He even said that there would be two days for Safaris! So, I REALLY need to get a job set up while I'm on break, get my grades back up, and get a new passport, probably a Visa, and a lot of shots. Yay!

I gotta make this quick cause I still have more reading to do, but I thought I'd let you know I'm resettled in here. My class is fun. We watch musicals! ...And have some books to read obviously, otherwise I wouldn't be saying this'll be a short one. One of the movies we get to watch is "Waiting for Guffman." I LOVE that movie!

No roomie at this point, but it's not really second semester yet. I have two calendars now; my mother got me the Inuyasha monthly one. It's totally awesome, except the one month that has Kikyo on it is April, my birthday month!!!! Gr... But every time there's a New Moon, they have a picture of human Inuyasha! I was laughing for like ten minutes after I noticed it!

The whole braces thing has gotten messed up beyond belief. They apparently can't put everything in until I get the teeth pulled that they told us to. They told my mother originally that it would be all right if I still had them because they could work around it at first, but apparently not. It's a huge mess, and I am not in a good mood about it.

As I was saying, I must be working (and trying not to fall asleep). I shall return here... sometime.

I know you're thinking "You all ready bothered us with a freakishly long and pointless entry yesterday!!!" but I have a few things to say. For one, themonkeymaiden was right, being sick and in college STINKS! Yeah, I have a mild case of the stomach flu XP. Not fun. I've only had really really bad nausea as of yet, but it was close. I'm only on the computer right now because I had to e mail all of my profs and stuff. My parents didn't come up last night, but my mom was planning on coming this afternoon. I'm not gonna stop her ^_^. I really wish I had someone "waiting on me hand and foot with Saltines and Sprite," as themonkeymaiden said (I'm paraphrasing, gimme a break, I'm sick!). In other news... Well, actually, nothing's really new... I ranted myself out yesterday. *And there was much rejoicing from msbbt's readers*

Lordy, have I been busy! I'm finally moved into my room, and there are just a few decorating things that I need to take care of. I've also got a couple of errand type things that I need to do in the next couple of days, a few auditions, one or two more books to buy, finish up orientation, and then start classes on Wednesday.

In other words, I AM EXHAUSTED!!!!!! Hopefully things will calm down once orientation gets over with. My class schedule really isn't that bad. But, I don't know what my open time will be like, so if you know me on fanfiction.net, my updates may or may not come back in the near future. I'll just have to see.
